Easy Christmas Sugar Cookies
These simplistic sugar cookies will remind you of the holiday season and leave Santa looking for more.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 eggs at room temperature
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
Instructions
- Cream together butter, eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix.
- Chill dough for at least two hours.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Once chilled, roll out dough and cut with cookie cutters.
- Bake 10 to 15 minutes and frost with powdered sugar frosting.
